El PSPV-PSOE de Dénia has presented on Friday the main points of its electoral program. 23 proposals and projects that hope to make reality if they revalidate the mayorship of Dénia for the next 4 years.
The current mayor and candidate, Vicen Grimalt, surrounded by members of the list and its executive, has detailed the main points they want to develop up to 2023. To elaborate it, from the PSPV they affirm that they have spoken with many people as a first step to achieve these 23 measures.
Proposals of the PSPV-PSOE for 2019-2023
- 1. More and better public spaces: they claim to have projects for the redevelopment of Pare Pere street, Valgamedís square, Mayor street, Tenor Cortis square, the streets that are missing from the Les Roques neighborhood, bower of the Valencia Country, the carrer Cop or the street Ramón y Cajal, among other performances.
- 2. New street cleaning contract: With the drafting of a new cleaning contract in 2020, the PSPV-PSOE proposes to include measures that reinforce the cleanliness of the city.
- 3. More parking: They propose to redevelop and improve the urban routes from the car parks to the city center.
- 4. Strategic action plan in Rotes, Marines and Montgó: in these areas they propose to create a plan that contemplates actions of extension and improvement of public lighting, expansion and intensification of the cleanliness from the new contract of 2020, as well as plans of specific municipal asphalting in the three zones, of cleaning of ravines and improvement of the signage.
- 5. Dénia, university city: creation of a University Campus in which to teach related studies
with the sea, tourism or gastronomy - 6. Job: Implementation of Employment Plans, aimed at young people, women and seniors from the proposals of the Occupation Table created during this term
- 7. Edificant Plan: Execute the pending works of the Plan Edificant of the Generalitat Valenciana and also adaptation of the dining room and problems of accessibility of the school Pare Pere de Jesus Pobre, reform of the roof and other performances in the Llebeig school and the reform of the dining room, children's classroom Vessanes school, as well as the reform of the structure of the IES Historiador Chabás
- 8. Fair wages: promote that all business associations that have agreements and contracts signed with the City Council sign an ethical code in which they commit to pay their workers the minimum wage of the City in compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals in which the companies hired by the City Council pay their workers the established salary.
- 9. Against gender violence: execute the Plan of Equality of Opportunities of the municipality of Dénia and obtain a specialized unit in hate crimes and sexual discrimination.
- 10. Autonomous Port of Dénia: complete the management
- 11. Remove the architectural barrier of Joan Fuster: finalize the two roundabouts of the Joan Fuster Avenue in the pass of the Alacant trenet (Juan Chabás street-Joan Fuster Avenue and Camí Pou de la Muntanya-Joan Fuster Avenue) and thus end the transfer of the train passing through the urban center of Dénia
- 12. Sustainable energy: initiate a process of energy transition in the municipality in which to reuse the water from the treatment plant for street cleaning, install charging points for electric cars, implement and enhance energy saving measures and start up a pilot project for selective collection door to door in less populated neighborhoods.
- 13. Multipurpose cultural and festive space: creation of a multipurpose space that hosts cultural and festive activities.
- 14. Improvements in sports facilities: modernize the sports facilities of the Municipal Sports Center and its surroundings through a master plan that marks the modernization of these facilities.
- 15. Strategic Plan for Smart Tourist Destination: facilitate the interaction of the tourist with the environment, adjusting the offer to the different needs of each one.
- 16. Creation of the Leisure and Rest Commission: represented by a member of the City Council, a member of the hotel and leisure industry, and a member of the federation of neighbors, to ensure the balance and propose solutions to the inconvenience from the consensus.
- 17. Commitment to transparency: they will be submitted to the scrutiny of the main evaluation portals of the country.
- 18. Solar de Marqués de Campo: to convene a contest of ideas that include the integration of Estación and Cándida Carbonell streets in the new space.
- 19. Remove architectural barriers: Creation of a PLA Director of Universal Accessibility of Dénia that eliminates architectural barriers.
- 20. Goodbye to plastic: eliminate the plastic of a single use in markets and markets with other alternatives that protect our sea and our Montgó with less waste.
- 21. Second nursing home: promote the creation of the CIMS, Integral center for the elderly, which combines residence, rest and daytime.
- 22. Adequate access to housing: creation of a demand pool through the City of Dénia, negotiation with banks and the promotion of housing VPO rental and sale with the Generalitat.
- 23. Local commerce: implementation of a Strategic Plan of commerce side by side with the merchants of the city.
