The VIII International Competition of Creative Cuisine of the Red Shrimp Dénia already has finalists

Jury VIII International Creative Cuisine Competition of the Red Prawn of Dénia has announced the names of the eight finalist chefs who will compete next March 5 in the Municipal Market, developing their own creations with the Red Shrimp Dénia as the protagonist.

This year, the participants are:

  • Daniel Mesa Martín Restaurant: Aparthotel Nautilus. Population: Arona (Tenerife)
  • Ismael Bilbao Infantes. Restaurant: Restaurant Samaruc. Population: Dénia (Alicante)
  • Mª Teresa and Gicelia Salado and Dos Santos. Restaurant: Training center (CdT - Alicante)
  • Adrián Merenciano Camacho. Restaurant: Flote Restaurant (Castellón de la Plana)
  • Alex Primo Robles. Restaurant: Cyrus DAD (Port of Sagunto, Sagunto)
  • Micaela Maldana Ruiz. Restaurant: The Nou Embolic Gastrobar (Pinoso, Alicante)
  • Juan Carlos Reyes Morenl. Restaurant: ABaC Restaurant (Barcelona)
  • Alejandro Serrano Delgado Restaurant: Restaurante Alejandro (Miranda de Ebro, Castilla-León)

The jury, which met yesterday, has been formed by Diego Mena, manager restaurant Mena (Dénia); Evarist Miralles, restaurant chef Nou Cavall Verd and teacher; Sergio Box, chef of the restaurant La Perla (Xàbia); Jose Manuel López, chef of the restaurant Peix i Brases (Dénia); Bruno Ruiz, restaurant chef Bruno Ruiz Aticcook (Dénia); Fernando Gonzalez, chef and manager El Raset Group; Ferdinando Bernardi, restaurant chef Orobianco (Calpe) and Rafael Soler, director of the Contest.

The jury of the contest

The next 5 of March, the jury in charge of evaluating the recipes of the eight finalists will be formed by the journalist Julia Pérez Lozano; the gastronomic critic José Carlos Capel; and the chefs Miguel Barrera, Quique Dacosta, Alberto Ferruz, Ricardo Costa, Paulo Airaudo, Javi Estevez and Benito Gómez.
