The wind and the rain cause several damages in the urban helmet

04 December 2019 - 11: 05

The strong gusts of wind, up to 70 kilometers per hour, together with the rainfall that we have experienced during the night, since the last hours of yesterday, Tuesday, has created a bleak picture in several points of the urban area of Dénia. The gale has been primed especially with lighting, be it the decorative one of Christmas or veteran lampposts that seemed immovable.

On the corner of Colón Street with Vicente Andrés Estellés, the Christmas lights have dawned on the road when one of the ends was released due to the wind. The area has been bounded although it has not required the traffic cut until the operators have intervened quickly to fix this decorative lighting.

The promenade of the Cervantes Esplanade has also suffered the strong gale, which has caused the fall of one of the great street lamps that have long kept lighting the pedestrians. Luckily, it seems that it has not caused any personal damage to vehicles parked a few meters away.
