Wind collapses panels in the Pavilion of Joan Fuster

January 19 from 2013 - 14: 13

The wind that on Saturday morning hit Dénia made visible damage around the city. Near the 11: 30 in the morning the panels of the Joan Fuster Pavilion gave way to the force of the wind. At that time there were about fifty people watching a basketball game. Immediately they were evacuated to avoid unnecessary risks and on the 12 of the morning they arrived until the effective pavilion of Civil Protection and the headquarters of firemen.

But it was not the only incident: in the Mercadona site of the Paseo del Saladar, firefighters were called in to prevent one of the building's plates from falling to the ground. In addition, the façade of a building fell on Sandunga Street. Detached posters, fallen trees and slight landslides of some cornices complete the incidents that the wind storm leaves in Dénia.

I was in the hall. My son played with Basket Cullera against Denia. Children are 12 and 13 years. The shock was tremendous, I hope the Denia are well. Nothing happened but it could have been a disgrace. Children were crying, mothers of Denia, there were some with anxiety attacks because he sees that awaited him. We thought that was the train as it passed, but they were wind gusts that made the move around until it happened. Greetings to all.

These suckers builders with influence peddling eneste council will have to give account for their incompetence required and serious lack of irresponsibility.

As always, Pepa Font hits the spot. She insisted on making that distasteful monstrosity and in the end, we see how it ended. It's the same for everything… beach bars, bike paths and now this crap. Where is he that has not shown his face ??????

  4. Maite says:

The truth is that they have had such bad taste in design that ...
    nothing is lost!

And they could have designed something solid and integrated with the landscape

  5. David says:

Check it out to see what happened. But remove it, with the need that it does ...

  6. Juan says:

    I would remove it ...
Being where it is, there in the middle, isolated and unprotected, would be best to dismantle it.
    Before passing a disgrace.
