Another economic blow to the City of Dénia, which will have to comply with the ruling of the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community and pay the drafting team of the General Urban Plan for the debt that was not paid for the drafting of the document.
The events date back to 2010, when the government team, made up of Party and Center Unificat, awarded EA Estudio de Arquitectura the drafting work for the future PGOU of Dénia. But after the rupture of the government pact, popular rescinded the contract to consider it unfeasible for the change in the urban legislation that entered the vigor in summer of 2014.
The contractor, EA Estudio de Arquitectura SL, Gandia, filed an administrative litigation against the City, which appealed and was rejected, and now the TSJ of Valencia judgment that the Dianense consistory has to pay the debt that was outstanding payment. The amount amounts to 250.000 euros plus court costs.
