As every year and they are already 24 when it reaches the last week of August, Pepet Trophy in memory of Pepe García has an appointment in La Xara. Another edition organized by Unió Esportiva La Xara and La Xara EATIM this competition gets underway.
This edition will begin its journey tomorrow and runs until September 2. The tournament consists of triangular in categories; senior, females, seasoned, pre benjamines and Cadet. Chosen by the organizers for the games children play date is Saturday August 30.
Male seniors in two groups, the A teams are; Ginestar Reale, FS. Rafol and Els Poblets. In B, Rte group. La Fontana, Maxim Sound and Lino Roselló.
In females the participating teams are; La Jarina, Young Promises and Dorian Gray. In the category of Veterans play; Pedro Agulles La Xara, Constr. Ricardo Mañas and Ibrolux.
Cadete category involved; La Xara, Paidos and Chabás, while in the Pre-Benjamín category they play; The Xara, Paidos and Maristas.
On September 2 the final will be played at senior level and delivering champion cup final winner, which also will yield a reminder to the family of Pepe García.
