The Dénia train rams a car in a great emergency drill

13 December 2022 - 11: 42

Late this morning, around 11:00, the sound of sirens has resounded in Dénia. Several emergency vehicles (firefighters, police and ambulances) have circulated at full speed through the streets of the city. However, it was not a real emergency, but rather it was part of a practice on the train tracks in case the train suffered an accident when it hit a car.

At the junction between Joan Fuster and Juan Chabás, a tremendous array of emergency vehicles and personnel has gathered. It seemed that it was a collision between the train and a vehicle at the roundabout, but it was really one of the drills that have been carried out to ensure resources in the event of a catastrophe in order to reactivate the rail service.

Don't panic – 100 million euros later there's a chance that the wonderful team will be running from Denia to Alicante (take an overnight bag as it will take forever) Thanks to more EU money being wasted Most families in Denia own 2/3 cars it's not a useless tram we need but more parking – ever heard of park and ride there is is so much land that could be used about time the mayor stopped posing and did something (there are more important issues in Denia than f…….g seaweed)

Don't panic another 100 million euros later there may actually be some trams moving – what a complete waste of money !!! Brains of rocking horses as most families in Denia have at least 2/3 cars that why we don't need a tram – but more importantly somewhere to park !!!
