Last Saturday, January 14, 2023, the first solidarity padel tournament organized by FEMMICC Dénia took place at the Pádel Soul Indoor facilities.
In total, a total of 80 people attended. Among them, participants, attendees at lunch and afternoon. The Federation of Moors and Christians de Dénia has classified this day as a day of sportsmanship, good atmosphere and solidarity.
In purely sporting terms, the couple formed by Andrés Gordon and Ivan Reig won a trophy in the third category. In the fourth category, the couple formed by Elia Buigues and Lidia Oriol classified. While in the fifth category the couple formed by Mario Lemus and Agustín Seco classified.
Thanks to this initiative, a total of 180 euros were raised, which have been entirely allocated to the soup kitchen of the Salvation Army in Dénia.
The president of the FEMMICC Dénia, Sonia Jiménez, has delivered the supporting check to the Salvation Army of Dénia. In addition, she has highlighted the great reception that this solidarity tournament had between the Dianense festeros and the festeras, since the response was very positive. The federation is already considering organizing a second edition of the Charity Padel Tournament.
Once again, the FEMMICC Dénia shows itself in favor of the promotion and dissemination of social and solidarity acts.
