Rafael Rodríguez has started the meeting by placing the nautical sector within the Spanish economy and its growth possibilities. Rodríguez has pointed out that recreational boating is in a very important moment of takeoff, “it is the oil of our insular and peninsular coast and it is still to be discovered.” In this sense, the general director of the Merchant Marine has assured that among all "We are managing to end the concept that nautical is for millionaires."

Nautical generated, in 2009, 117.000 jobs and 17.000.000 millions of euros. "At the moment the sector starts, it will be an economic power for Spain." Rodríguez has stated that for every job created in the sector, there are between seven and eight indirect jobs. "For this reason, I have turned so much to the sector, since I see its potential." For his part, Gabriel Martínez has added, "with some coasts so saturated by construction, another of the benefits of nautical tourism is to generate wealth and employment, but without occupying land."

Hi, I'm jluisteo, and I would leave my opinion if I think it remains for millionaires, yet average people can not have access to this sport, until recently we could take our small boats through ramps that were in the parknig, which were free, it is known that as they were not profitable, the have taken now to throw them have to use other ramps and that if passed by Caja tethers are also rising fairly priced, and would have to think that it is an attractant for tourism.
