Within the Real Club Naútico Dénia they are preparing a competition of national nature as the Cup of Spain Sea Kayak. This sporting event, which is organized by the Royal Spanish Canoeing Federation, will take place on the waters of the Dianense coast, will be held on Saturday 24 in March.
Up to Dénia will arrive around 200 paddlers from different parts of the Iberian peninsula as well as the Balearic and Canary Islands. In addition to the participants there will be many companions who will visit the municipality. This type of competitions are a good claim at the advertising level of the city since the promotion of Dénia is important.

11:30h. Close control of boats 1ª exit.
12:00h. 1ª Departure: Traditional, K-1 Senior, Sub 23, veterans, K-2 Junior and Cadet
13:30h. Children's exit
14:00h. Food in the club tent.
15:30h. Boat control. 2 exit
16:00h. Boat control closure 2ª exit
16:30h. 2 exit: K-2, Sub 23, Veterans, K-1 Junior and Cadet
18:00h. Trophy delivery.
Field of Regatas
The organization has prepared a race course to the south, that is, to Cabo de San Antonio. The distances to travel will be according to the categories, in children 3 kilometers, cadets will have to row 7 kilometers and the rest of the categories will have 11 kilometers ahead.
Both departures and arrivals that will be from within the water can be seen from the south breakwater, since the paddlers will take course to Cabo San Antonio.
