The general secretary of PSPV-PSOE of the province of Alicante and deputy in Les Corts, José Chulvi, and the socialist deputy in Les Corts, Rosa Mustafá, have highlighted today that "The best accounts in history" include investments of 35,8 million for the region of La Marina Alta. This has been stated by Chulvi and Mustafá, who have presented the investments included in the 2021 Generalitat Budget for this Alicante region at a press conference in Dénia in which the mayor of the town has also participated, Vicent Grimalt, and the general secretary of the party in the region, Óscar Mengual.
"Both the accounts of the Generalitat and those of the Government of Spain respond to an exceptional pandemic situation, and focus on two main objectives: to continue saving lives and promote economic and social reconstruction"Chulvi has stated. In this sense, Mustafá has highlighted that the accounts include total investments for the La Marina Alta region of 35,8 million euros, which represents an increase of 26 million over last year. Among them, he has highlighted the lines for the Edificant Plan, with 7 million in El Verger or 4,6 million in Els Poblets, as well as the investment of 1,6 million for the municipal auditorium of Teulada or the injection of 1,5 million for the construction of the municipal covered swimming pool in Xàbia.
For his part, the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, has shown his satisfaction with the investments budgeted for the town, including the 5,7 million allocated to the Edificant Plan for the construction and rehabilitation of the La Xara-Gual Villalbi school, the Center of Special Education Raquel Payà and IES María Ibars.
"These are the best accounts for La Marina Alta because they meet the demands of our municipalities", has affirmed the general secretary of the party in the region, Óscar Mengual, who has stressed that the Marina Alta region is the second region in the province of Alicante where the investment of the Consell grows the most in 2021 and has concluded that "It is about Budgets that seek that no one is left behind".
