27 March 2023 - 11: 58

The Socialists of Dénia have announced that next April 4 they will present in an act open to all citizens in the House of Culture local policies that have come out of a long process of dialogue with neighbors who have participated in the drafting of the government program of the PSPV-PSOE of Dénia.

During the months of November, December and January, various sectoral meetings were held with different members from outside the party, divided by theme. Based on the proposals, a 'Program fet a 100 mans' (Program made with 100 hands) has been created, which will be the most participatory of all, but also real and executable.

This presentation date has been decided just the day after the call for local and regional elections to be published by the BOE on Monday, April 3.

El government program of the Socialists of Dénia It is divided into five large real and achievable blocks.

  • 1. Continue the urban transformation of the city such as the neighborhood of Las Rocas, El Saladar and especially the axis of the Jaime I, Pedrera and Bosque de Diana area with: the new university headquarters of Torrecremada and the Campus in front of Ies Chabàs, the modernization of Jaime I square , the new Bosque de Diana on Avenida Joan Fuster, the new intermodal station between La Pedrera and the Vía del TRAMO, the new urban actions in the area of Calle Sagunto, the expansion of the Palace of Justice, the construction of the CRIS, CEM and 2nd residence in La Pedrera, the Fiesta Museum in the old Rodado, the improvement of the House of Culture, the modernization of the El Rodado field and the ideas competition to improve the accessibility and friendliness of the Torrecremada esplanade taking into account its current uses that will be maintained: market, parking, fairgrounds and party performances.
  • 2. Continue the economic transformation of the city betting to turn Dénia into a destination beyond the sun and the beach with the consolidation of the project of Dénia, University City and Thought.
  • 3. Continue betting on the well-being of people, especially of the youngest, the oldest and those who need it the most that we are doing it now in real policies and not star or unrealizable projects in the face of the elections.
  • 4. Continue betting on the improvement and new construction of new facilities: educational, sports, social facilities, etc.
  • 5. And continue betting on proximity and the green transition of the city, the result of more than 9 million euros obtained in European grants in recent years.

It must be remembered that the Socialists of Dénia were already the first to present their electoral list in February and now they will present a government program to all citizens that has come out of a true participatory process of months with residents of the city who have contributed their ideas to continue making the greatest urban, social and economic transformation in the history of Dénia.

In principle, to start my comment, which is intended to be objective, I have to say that regardless of the party's political acronyms, our Mayor is a good person, and that should make it easier for those who represent us to collaborate in order to have a plan people focused.

    – Urban Transformation: I would rather say adapt urban planning to the new socio-economic realities and those of interest to the city and its citizens.
    – Provide structural measures that articulate mobility
-Bypassing part of the traffic on the Las Marinas highway to relieve congestion in the sections closest to the town. Those who do not have as their destination the nearest population and areas that can reach their destinations without going through sections that are usually congested.
    – Infrastructure that communicates Denia with the most important towns of Alicante and Valencia (it is the same community and it seems that it splits at the limit of Gandia. (Valencia)
    – Review of neighborhoods and collaboration with owners if necessary and adapt facades, abandoned buildings, excavations that never seem to end, review of wiring and pictures on facades... etc. For this, a Mayor of a nearby town, first thing in the morning with notebook in hand he walked the streets, took notes and little by little improvements were made. Objective … A beautiful, modern Denia,

    – An economic transformation cannot be undertaken without good communication channels.
    – An economic transformation cannot be undertaken without a stable flow of consumers and service demanders.
    – There can be no economic transformation without a social transformation in parallel and of skills.
On many occasions, evolution requires changes and the changes must be promoted from common, clear and achievable objectives. The rest can become demagogy.

    — It is said to be a University and thought city
It sounds good, but I think that Denia needs to be recognized, let me explain, who manages and receives what is produced in the port? Income from permits, rentals of premises, moorings … etc. Criticism is often heard on the street, about the situation of the port, coasts, dirt, wear on the sidewalk and bicycle lanes... etc. and these are addressed to the City Council, but the management is not in the Generalitat and in the Ports?
It would be a good objective to work to obtain a transfer to the municipality of that which is closest and that we all identify as belonging to the municipality. This could provide resources and means to improve the front of the port and much more, which seems increasingly deteriorated. Denia looks at the sea, but the Dienenses cannot decide which piece of sea they can look at, due to the occupation of the port and so on.

A Denia with culture, with history. I would ask you to visit the cover of the stones that seem to have belonged to the wall at the height of the Music School, whoever visits it identifies it with a concrete nave and rusty columns, which somehow cover what was intended to be part of the route. . Disappointing apart from dirty.

    – On the well-being of people, children, the elderly. Please let us not forget the young, the present and the most immediate future. A good part of the measures that were discussed must be aimed at enabling them to finish their training, work without having to leave their town, that they may have the option of becoming financially independent and access to housing. These are real policies that connect a society. It doesn't work with seasonal jobs, with thinking who thinks what to think. I humbly believe that we must act in favor of the society of women and men who wake up every day with the aim of improving, of contributing.
As a Pope, very dear to the person who writes, and I mean John Paul II, CAME TO SAY, LET US TAKE CARE OF MAN, HE IS MADE IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD.
In my individual way of seeing the issues, they must be summarized in this objective TO CARE FOR WOMEN AND MEN, regardless of age, we often forget about young people who do not find stability and can lose faith. They are present and future, theirs and that of adults and children.
    not a criticism
    Luck

    • Dani says:

You have gotten too involved and you have not made reference to two of the problems that Denia has: the Cinemas and the second Health Center.
Everything you have said is very good, but solutions must be provided, not just theory.
As I have already told you in another comment, Denia needs more infrastructure, NOT JUST COMMUNICATION.
We need a Mayor who thinks about making the city great.
Denia should reach 100.000 inhabitants in the nucleus.
Taking into account how historically important it is, it should be one of the cities of the Valencian Community.
I hope you reflect on this answer.
      regards

  2. Dani says:

    Well, they haven't asked me.
And that "neighborhood participation" is a potato tale.
    An intermodal station.
So why have they made the Generalitat spend €300.000 on a slop that has the bathrooms closed?
    More pedestrian streets.
In the end the cars will pass through the air.
And employment and tourism promotion for his father.
And the Auditorium Theater and the Shopping Center?
    There are no cinemas.
    really embarrassing
