El PSPV de Dénia has made some statements in which he criticizes the candidate of the PP, Pepa Font, for not remembering the state of the city in March 2011, when works were carried out in the Plaza de la Constitución, the Plaza del Consell and Calle Diana. At that time, the Socialists declare, Font carried out the work of Councilor for Urbanism. In addition, the political formation recalls that at that time the Fallas awards had to be delivered at the Social Center due to the inoperability of the emblematic place of the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, whose responsibility fell on Font herself.
The Dénia PSPV assures that, despite the former councilor's lack of planning, they "do know how to do things well and that the best proof of this will be the placement of the failures in its corresponding place in a few days”, as they have agreed with the different commissions.
These statements are produced in response to the criticism launched this Friday by the popular candidate towards the City Council for the works in the center of the city. The Dénia PSPV wants to make it clear that, despite the lack of foresight of some, they are working so that everything is ready for the celebration of the Fallas festivals in the city.
