The Comenius European educational project closure in Dénia after two years of cultural exchanges

El school Paidos Thursday put an end to European Comenius education project, which since 2011 been joined by schools of Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Denmark and Greece. The closing ceremony, which was held at the Social Center of Denia, brought together parents, students and teachers at the school.

At the closing ceremony of the Best Available moments of these two years, in which participating students have shared trips, experiences and traditions of their countries they were recalled. Some of the students took the stage to show regional dances of their country, and by the school Paidos, the students of the dance school Patricia Sentí They offered a dance inspired by Alberti.

The headmistress Paidos, Pepita Pedraza, welcomed the cooperation of the other participating schools, and stressed the importance of foreign languages ​​in this project. In this case, students have used English to communicate. Rafael Carbonell, regional secretary of education, meanwhile, praised the work of the school Paidos in this integrative project.

After delivery of awards to representatives from each school, a representation of students sang the Ode to Joy in English accompanied by piano, violin, flute and guitar.
