The Illustrious College of the Lawyers of Alicante (ICALI) has delivered social aid, corresponding to the second half of the year, to a total of six associations in the province. The entities serve both groups suffering from various diseases, as well as individuals and families who need financial help or support in their social integration.
The dean of ICALI, Fernando Candela Martínez, presided over this emotional event in the assembly hall of the College, accompanied by the sixth deputy of the Governing Board, Miguel Ángel Martínez Martínez and the treasurer, Catalina Alcázar Soto.
The "Yes You Have Cancer, Think of Amunt" project of the Amunt Against Cancer association was selected and its president, vice president and a member came to Alicante to pick up the check.
Amunt Against Cancer offers support, information, counseling and financial assistance, along with social services, to people with cancer and their families.
