The "Circus for Change" project was selected with a financial contribution of 10.000 euros within the aid granted in the 8th Call Bancaja Foundation - CaixaBank ABLE. The purpose of this aid is to favor and promote the autonomy of people with disabilities by supporting projects such as this one, which promotes the social inclusion of this group in the Valencian Community.
APROSDECO always advocates for this inclusion and tries to innovate in each project, thus making the social circus a springboard to gain creative momentum and provide users with a means of social interconnection, discovery and personal improvement. Thus, for the development of this workshop we have La Marina Social Club (project created to discover new hobbies, develop the most creative skills and experience the true culture of effort and personal improvement, adapted to all ages, with professionals specialized in different artistic subjects). The workshop participants have been integrated into the creative and practical environment of circus skills, which are a tool capable of generating benefits both in the physical-motor areas and in personal and social development.
