The next pediatric resuscitation workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at Marina de Denia. “Given the good reception of the three workshops that we have developed, together with the Hospital San Carlos Office of Dénia, we return to set a date for the next one”, said Gabriel Martínez, director of Marina Dénia.
The workshop will begin at 18:966 p.m. at the Marina Dénia facilities and, like the previous ones, it will be completely free and aimed at families or people who care for children. Registrations can be made by calling 424 307 XNUMX or by email at email@example.com "During the sessions we have detected the great interest that these issues arouse in the general population, for learning and being able to act appropriately in emergency situations", has noted Gabriel Martinez.
The workshop will once again be taught by Dr. Antonia Ivars, who is part of the San Carlos Hospital pediatrics team. “The people who attend are concerned about learning basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques and knowing how to act correctly in the event of an accident such as choking, seizure and now with the summer season so close, with the possible drowning in beaches or swimming pools. Of course, these are rare situations, but when they do occur, they generate great anxiety in the population”, explained Dr. Ivars.
In addition, the doctor has highlighted that generally the attendees are the parents, but the interest of the grandparents who take care of their grandchildren and people who work with children in daycare centers, school canteens, playgrounds, camp monitors... Therefore, a great interest is detected in the general population, in learning to handle emergency situations in pediatrics.
It should be noted that the main objective of these workshops is to instruct the largest possible population in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques. In the workshops, after the theoretical class, questions from the attendees are answered and then practiced with the simulation dolls.
