The process of beatification of Pare Pere began its journey in Rome

17 June 2016 - 13: 21

Ten years after it began the process of beatification of Fray Pedro Esteve, better known as Pare Pere, the diocesan phase of collecting information and documents will be attributed, has ended. The next step is the Roman process, which will review the documentation submitted and decide whether the Dianense hermit deserves to be beatified.

That is why this afternoon, the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption will host the closing ceremony of the diocesan phase, an act that will be chaired by Joan Piris Frígola, bishop emeritus of Lleida. Once the diocesan phase is closed, the documentation of the canonization process will be sent to Rome, where it will be reviewed by experts and a commission of theologians.

The process of beatification of Pare Pere began in 2006 at the proposal of the Brotherhood of the Sang Santíssima and Friar Enrique Oltra, custodian of Pare Pere Hermitage. During this time he has been working on finding information about the hermit who took up residence for him in the Montgo, next to the hermitage that today bears his name.

From April 2 to 6, I went to Dénia to the Port Dénia hotel ... I was not going to go, because I was bleeding a lot when I had my bowel movements, but since I had booked for my wife, my daughter, and my two granddaughters, I felt obliged to go ...
On Tuesday afternoon, my wife made an effort to get to know the Hermitage of Pare Pere and we went ... There I read on a wall of the Hermitage, that with a prayer asking only for health, I would recover it ... I did so and asked for my bleeding ...
The next morning, do not take a drop ... I was white when remembering my request to Pare Pere ...
    Thanks Pare Pere ..
