On the occasion of the beginning of this new stage in which the use of masks outdoors is no longer mandatory, as of this Saturday, the President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, has addressed Valencians through a video in which he urges citizens to make responsible use of the mask before the end of the obligation to wear it outdoors.
The president describes the flexibility of its use as a "great advance" but has appealed to prudence in the face of the rebound in cases among young people. Puig has indicated that the time has come, "after a year and three months of joint effort we are finally breathing without filters again. After 469 days of responsible patience, the mask is no longer mandatory outdoors. This gesture of taking off the mask symbolizes a breakthrough and a small victory. "
The head of the Consell recommends carrying the mask "on or in your pocket" to continue using it in case of any doubt about its obligatory nature, the lack of ventilation or the feeling of vulnerability.
Wear the mask especially if you come across a group of students who neither wear it nor think they have to wear it.
