El Party de Dénia has denounced that the tourism department, headed by the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, has accepted a payment of 18.000 € to the audiovisual production company that broadcasts the national program MasterChef in an advertising contract.
As the popular ones have been able to compare, this payment for advertising services is not included in the annual budget line. In addition, 18.000 euros would have to add other 13.000 euros in security payments and other expenses that are not specified.
The popular candidate for mayor, María MutSays that "citizens deserve to know the reason why the mayor merges the municipal budget is unnecessary expenses".
The recordings were made on 8 and 9 days in April in different locations of Dénia, where the Masterchef program team moved with the judges, Pepe Rodríguez, Samantha Vallejo Nágera and Jordi Cruz.
