The Pou de la Muntanya celebrates Book Day with a virtual reading of "Un estiu a la Marina"

23 2020 April - 15: 05

Throughout this course, the #Marcalacomarca project is being carried out at the CEIP Pou de la Muntanya. With it, the aim is to introduce students to the learning and appreciation of our region, the Marina Altaand their traditions.

There are many activities carried out, such as correspondence exchange with other centers in the region, traditional cuisine workshops, themed board games, guided visits to the main places in the area, indigenous dances, popular game studies and even a rap .

One of the activities scheduled for the day of the book was the collective reading of the book A estiu to the Marina Alta, by the author Carme Miquel, with whom the center had a good relationship. The confinement, however, has not prevented part of the educational community from getting down to work to dedicate a few words to it.

Thus, mothers, students, janitors, teachers, kitchen and dining room staff or even writers from the Navy have produced a commemorative video in which fragments of this book are read naming identity signs that are so typical of our region, such as l'escaldà , cassettes, l'esmorzar, vetlar, or la pansa. In addition, a didactic proposal has been prepared so that students can work school content from home, relating them to these aspects in an interdisciplinary way.

With this video, in addition to paying tribute to the beloved writer and making our region known, it has been intended to represent the entire educational community of Pou. A community that, despite the circumstances, continues to be united and working day by day for the future of the school.
