The sports center of Dénia lived a great atmosphere with the closure of the X Mini Jocs Olímpics

Frantic has been the weekend in the facilities of the municipal sports center of Dénia, headquarters of the X Mini Jocs Olímpics of the Marina Alta. A sporting event organized by CEMA, with the participation of 1.250 young people belonging to 20 delegations.

After the opening day on Friday, Saturday was an intense day in terms of competition. In addition, workshops and exhibitions such as those of Hípica, Taewondo or Wushu that were a great success were also enthusiastically lived.

The last day was shorter since there was only a morning session but full of emotions and where the finals of most competitions were played. The world of athletics gained prominence on the track with the celebration of the corresponding tests.

In Hall futsal finals with victory for Calpe 3 to 1 they lived for at Dénia, after extra time. It was also the scene of the basketball finals. In girls the winning team was Pedreguer Dénia won and the winners were the guys to beat dianenses Calpe.

In the Diego Mena the football final was lived with victory for Pedreguer but in the throws of penalties, before Teulada.

On the slopes Tennis Club finals were played that sport track and fronton final was played handball with victory for Benissa.
In the Triquet "El Rovellet" the Valencian ball finals were played.

Other sports like swimming or gymnastics lived their late Saturday afternoon, both the pool Centro Deportivo Dénia as the pavilion where the rhythmic gymnastics was played registered a record of capacity, with a massive presence of an audience that did not stop encouraging the athletes.

The climax came with the closing ceremony where there was a special role for students of the School of disabled collected medals and a standing ovation by the people who filled the stands of the sports center.
