The lesser-known fish from the bay, protagonist of the second fair 'Dénia, Peix i Mar'

Tótena, white octopus, bonito, white fry fish ... they are little known species of our bay for our palates. For that to end and become known flavors, the fira Dénia, Peix i Mar Which is held in May will give them a special role.

This was announced by the mayor and councilor of tourism, Ana Kringe, and the manager of Aehtma, Reme Cerdà. Dénia, Peix i Mar 8 will be held at the 10 in May in the port of Dénia and, as happened last year, aims to bring the flavors of our Mediterranean and the fishing arts to the public.

This year a total of twelve establishments participate in the tastings, which will be offered in the tents installed in the port at a price of 2 euros. The opening hours will be from 19 to 23 on Friday, 8 on May, 12.30 on 15 hours and 19.30 on 23 on Saturday 9 and 12.30 on 15 on Sunday, 10 day.

The tent will also house a tent where the public will be able to see an exhibition of fishing gear, explained by local fishermen, and videos showing different types of traditional fishing boats and how they are exploited in each one of them.

In addition, as a complement to the fair, there will be raffles excursions for the marine reserve among all the people who consume at the fair during the weekend, as well as half-price catamaran excursions during the three days of the fair.

The fair Dénia, Peix i Mar Will also serve to open a window to the cities belonging to the Creative Network of UNESCO. An information space on the application will be enabled, assisted by the technical coordinator of the project, Florentino Terrades, in which the public will also be able to know which cities already have this badge and the benefits that they report belong to the Network of Creative Cities Of Unesco.
