Patronato defending private healthcare is concerned by the decision of the Consell

04 2016 April - 09: 25

El Institute for the Development and Integration of Health (IDIS) is a non-profit organization that aims to "value the contribution of private health to the health of our country and promote the improvement of the health of all Spaniards". Currently, this board is composed of 23 groups involved in the private health of our country.

After knowing the dedication of the Valencian Consell to revert the sanity in the comarca to the public by means of the purchase of shares, they have issued a statement in which they show "Their concern and concern about these types of initiatives, since they generate legal uncertainty, unpredictability and uncertainty for the proper development of the agreed initiatives".

From IDIS they remember that this system "has demonstrated efficiency, reduction of waiting lists and budget savings" Since it was implemented in the Comunitat Valenciana in 1999, emphasizing that "The quality of the assistance and the efficiency of the concessions model has brought about an important penetration of it in some autonomous communities, with a clearly positive user satisfaction index and at the same level or above their traditional management hospital counterparts ".

Likewise, from IDIS, they affirm that public-private collaboration "It is essential for the maintenance of universal health and a sustainable system, much more in times of instability or clear financial insufficiency"and that "The assumption of the financial costs of the reversal of concessions in the current scenario in our country is, in addition to being unfeasible, clearly unnecessary, especially if we take into account the positive results in economic terms and quality of care obtained with these models".

For all of them, from the IDIS they put "available to the Government to support and promote strategies that
allow a health system of reference, which has the patient and health professionals as the ultimate goal of all their efforts and all this within a framework of maximum quality of care and present and future sustainability "

  1. Marian says:

The health is always of public financing through the taxes that we pay all the Spaniards.
Another very different thing is that the management of some hospitals this yielded by competition to private companies. This type of management is backed by the improvement and efficiency of the service. Which is what all the neighbors of Denia want.
    Everything else is communist propaganda.
