A total of 218 people came during the day on Thursday Dénia Social Center, where took place the 7º Blood Donation Marathon. Of these, 184 could make donations and thus increase the blood bank of the province.
Until 14: 00 95 hours had participated persons, which could donate 75, 25 of them for the first time. The largest number of donations was recorded in the evening, when 123 people may 109 blood drawn approached.
From the Transfusion Center of Alicante they recalled that these withdrawals will be used for patients in the province, where every day 250 donations to cover the needs of all of them are necessary.
The Blood Donation Marathon takes place in Dénia for seven years with the aim of getting new donors become part of one of the most supportive families: helping to save lives.
