The judge on duty at the court of Dénia has agreed to the provisional and bail-out prison of the man who allegedly murdered his partner in Calp this week. He does so after taking a statement in the Hospital de Dénia, where he is under surveillance. Thus, the judge has opened the case for a crime of manslaughter against the accused.
The evidence suggests that the 61-year-old man murdered his 57 partner with a knife during the early hours of Monday at the house they shared in a residential area of Calp. After the alleged homicide, the author inflicted several injuries, possibly while attempting suicide, for which he had to be transferred to the hospital. The voice of alarm was given by the murdered daughter when she saw what happened after returning home.
