Berne fire stars in the Santa Cecilia Concert Band Denia

The Musical artistic grouping of Dénia returned it to obtain. As every year at this time, and in tribute to his patron, he offered an impeccable concert under the direction of Frank de Vuyst whose main piece was "The fire of Bern", Mario Bürki, in which they combined music and sound effects that moved to public until the afternoon of 14 1405 May, when a fire swept through the old town.

Santa Cecilia concert this year was especially important for new musicians joined the ranks of the Association:

Isabel Alonso (saxophonist) was sponsored by Jaume Enguix; Pedro Nofuentes sponsored Alfonso Benlloch (flute); Miquel Asunción was the godfather of Josep Bolufer (cello); Javier Cornejo (clarinet) was sponsored by Aitor Zarragoitia; Adrià Ivars (trombone) had Juanjo Ivars as godfather; Victor Llorens (trumpet) was sponsored by Juani Molinillo; Alba Martínez (clarinet) was sponsored by Vicent Crespo; Manolo Olivencia was the godfather of María Olivencia (trumpet); Gloria Rubio sponsored Laura Pacheco (oboe); Tonet Puigcerver (sax) was sponsored by Jaume Enguix; Zaira Serra (clarinet) by Vicent Crespo; Belén Slezak (bassoon) by Alicia Bolufer and Nuria Pérez, and Joel Vives (trombone) was sponsored by Rafa Vives.

In the middle of the concert she proceeded to draw for the lithograph by Joan Castejón created especially for the 60 anniversary of the band, which went to the hands of the holder of the number 211. President of the band, Josep Vicent Bonet, gave him the winner of the prize.

Once the concert program, and before the insistent applause from the audience, the Artistic Association Musical of Dénia offered a very special and festive bis, with whom he celebrated the 60 years of the band paying homage to its patron ended.
