IES María Ibars honored the artist Joan Castejón

An artist of the long career of Joan Castejón is well worth a tribute in the place of residence he chose in the 70 years, and if that tribute comes from the educational community, it is even more special. That was what happened last Wednesday in the act Joan Castejón: Love, Mite and Paraula organized by the IES María Ibars in the Social Center of Dénia with the collaboration of the Baix la Mar fails and the School of Regional Theater (ETC) of Dénia.

The students of the center presented Castejón's work at the same time that poems by Miguel Hernández were read accompanied by live music and theatrical performances. On the other hand, the marine commission collaborated ceding the decoration of its infantile presentation.

Castejón spoke of his feelings and efforts to achieve a better world through his drawings, sometimes made as a complaint. The protagonist delighted the large audience making the face of the sad figure in less than a quarter of an hour with his pencil in his hand.
