Last week, the CDT Denia hosted the presentation of the project company Coopagrotur, A business idea mock and continuity in future courses with a real purpose coordinated by Professor Imma Navarro Navarro born with the immediate objective of the creation of jobs through the creation of a camping area called Coopagrotur aimed at youth, since children are the future of society.
This camping area is located within heading Xical, pla of misera in Pego, which aims to breathe fresh air and eat healthy products of our culture, promoting the Mediterranean diet and respect for the environment. The student takes a role and is reflected in the organization of the cooperative. As a legal form has been chosen by a worker cooperative, because it is a society of social economy does not need a minimum capital to constitute, liability is limited and seeks integration with the environment and social cohesion.
With this entrepreneurial initiative, during the course skills of students in terms of reading comprehension, teamwork, planning, organization, coordination and numerical calculation are improved. The ultimate goal of this project is to reduce absenteeism and dropout, always motivating students and promoting their self-esteem.
This project has been made possible by financial support for projects of Educational Research and Innovation on the curriculum development of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, with support from the European Social Fund. The recipients are students of 1º course Basic FP Administrative Services IES Enric Value of Pego, who have had the collaboration of the members of the City Council Pego, various associations, organizations of the region and the families of student body.
