05 October 2021 - 12: 45

On Wednesday September 22, a new meeting of the Neighborhood Participation Council was held, which brings together the representatives of the different neighborhood associations of Dénia and municipal representatives.

The first item on the agenda addressed the issues proposed by the Federation of Neighborhood Associations: the purchase of shares by DKV of the Marina Health Hospital, the status of the project to regenerate the beaches and measures to promote energy saving and improvement in both public and private buildings.

Second, the status of execution of the works included in the Participatory Budgets was reviewed.

In the section on questions and queries, the Les Roques Neighborhood Association presented several proposals on a variety of topics, most of which were left on the table considering that they should be agreed between the members of the Federation before being exposed to the Council. On the other hand, the entity requested more police presence in the Plaza del Consell.

The Montgó Neighbors Association explained the inconvenience caused by tourist rental apartments due to the celebration of parties and the conflicts that occur in the La Siesta urbanization. The local police commissioner indicated that many interventions have been made in both cases.

From Deveses-Playas Norte also wondered about the police presence in the area and the possibility of installing a checkpoint. The police chief reviewed the number of patrols that daily monitor the area and the bottles intervened since the beginning of the summer.

At the end of the Council, the secretary was informed of the forthcoming retirement, who for two decades "has carried out her task effectively", it was highlighted. All members of the Council recognized his work with warm applause.
