One more year, and already six, the Hospital of La Pedrera, in Dénia, hosted the days of Acquired Brain Injury, opening its doors to patients and family members who could see first-hand the technologies and techniques available in the hospital.
In the different rooms of integral rehabilitation, and attended by the team of professionals, rehabilitation doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, demonstrations were made and the visitors showed the devices and techniques used in each unit.
In addition, all people were able to know their vascular risk through different tests performed by the nursing staff, and receive information and recommendations in order to reduce vascular risk and prevent strokes.
The fair was attended by the territorial director of Health of Alicante, Encarna Llinares, who along with the director of the center, Jaume Morera, toured the facilities of the fair.
