Transferability or not of parental leave? This is one of the issues that will be addressed in the V World Breastfeeding Week Day, which will be held next Tuesday, November 5, at the Casa de la Paraula de Baleària Port.
The meeting, organized by the Department of Health of Dénia, will be opened by the Manager of the Department of Health of Dénia -DSD-, Luis Carretero, the Commissioner of the DSD, Juan Puig, the Primary Nursing Coordinator, Natalia Casado, and the Pediatrician of the DSD, Raquel Lucas.
The welcome to the day will be carried out by the clowns of Tarannà Teatres, collaborators of the cuidArt project of Hospital de Dénia. The inaugural talk will follow "Decent maternity leave to enable breastfeeding", by Elba García-Clark and Carmen Giner Zaragoza, both of the Petra Platform. This group advocates the extension and transferability of parental leave and the defense of the biological dimension of motherhood and extrogestation.
The DSD Pediatrics team has also organized a round table with breastfeeding groups, in which the Nodrissa Group, La Safor al Pit, Breastfeeding, Mama d'Elx will be represented. The table, which will also participate in the Obstetrics Supervisor, Silvia Crespo, will be moderated by the Calp Health Center Nurse, Amparo Císcar.
The organization has also prepared a surprise as a closing day with the clownclusions, by Tarannà Teatres.
