El Marina Health Hospital It has recently joined the United Nations Global Compact, a voluntary commitment that is acquired to comply with ten universal principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
In this way, the regional hospital becomes the second organization in the health sector that is part of the United Nations Global Compact in the Valencian Community and the seventh that does so at the national level.
This voluntary commitment is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility policy that is betting the Marina Health, which includes the development of various activities in the field of Dénia Department of Health. This is the case of collaboration with the foundation DKV Integralia (through the Call Center), the approval of the new Plan for Equal Opportunities between professionals of both sexes, active collaboration with the local board of Dénia of the Spanish Association Against Cancer or the implementation of the Plan medioamiental Sustainable Marina, among others.
