The pedagogical classroom of the Department of Health of Dénia opens a new exhibition hall. It is a space created to give visibility to the work carried out by children hospitalized in the pedagogical classroom of the Hospital de Dénia, where the artistic expression is worked to help the students to externalize their emotions, as well as to improve their hospital stay.
The pedagogical classroom is an educational service for hospitalized children of compulsory school age - from 6 to 14 years - to respond to the right to Education, implemented thanks to an agreement signed with the Ministry of Education.
The Managing Director of the Department of Health of Dénia, Luis Carretero, accompanied by Joana Gil, responsible for the pedagogical classroom at the Hospital de Dénia; Josep Mut, Head of the Pediatric Service; Alicia Ventura, Director of the Art Project; Amparo Exojo, supervisor of the Pediatric Service and Alfredo Moreno, of the Director of Care and Services, attended its opening on Wednesday.
