The Dénia Hospital donates COVID material for a health center in the Republic of the Congo

El Hospital de Dénia has delivered, this morning, a shipment of consumables to combat COVID-19 at a hospital in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Department of Logistics of the Hospital de Dénia has donated to the NGO Viviendas para los Sin Techo de Gandía, disposable and isolation gowns, gloves and surgical masks, dressings and FFP2 masks for a solidarity project, in which other Valencian hospitals also participate with the transfer of consumables.

The objective is to charter a container from the Valencian Community to the Ngandanjika region, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where other non-profit organizations are also collaborating in the construction of a health network made up of 1 general hospital, 2 secondary hospitals and 19 health centers. Health. The project also organizes stays for Spanish health workers at the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Hospital in Ngandanjika to share knowledge with the local Medicine and Nursing staff.

The shipping of the containers is covered by the production of the Spanish film "Adú", winner of 4 Goyas in this year's edition, and produced by Telecinco, Ikiru Films and La Terraza Films.
