El Hospital de Dénia opens registration for the III International Congress of Art and Health, To be held from November 9 11 to. Those interested in taking part should formalize their registration through internets.
Registrations will include attendance at all sessions required to follow the presentations and lunches of the first and second day, in addition to the planned coffee break after the opening ceremony documentation.
The aim is to emphasize the value of art as a tool of great value to treat cultural and social aspects, including health is. The conference will be structured in five thematic working groups, which will focus on the following areas: artistic and cultural practices with and from hospitals; Neuroaesthetics, music therapy, art therapy and art health and social and cultural institutions.
Each of these thematic working groups, led by renowned professionals, will feature a series of presentations by national and international experts. The tables are also complemented communications, addressed from a different perspective more specialized projects in the field of art and health.
The CuidArt Project
The Department of Health Dénia develops in hospital since 2009 the CuidArt Project, a pioneering initiative in Spain that works as a humanizing and therapeutic health initiative space. This project includes the development of numerous actions such as painting or photography exhibitions, murals interventions, workshops, music therapy, art therapy or theater.
This international congress that will lead the cuidArt Project Director, Alicia Ventura, will also be an opportunity to disseminate, analyze and ultimately improve this artistic and pioneering project, putting him in connection with other initiatives of the national and international context.
