The Retirees and Pensioners Home has organized, in collaboration with the Department of Youth and the Mayor, a new edition of the Conference on Cultural Sports Coexistence. This seventeenth cultural week, which is celebrated from the 21 to the 26 in October, includes a tribute to Agustín Moreno, founder of the Coral del Hogar del Jubilado, who died in 2011. The posthumous recognition that the choir will dedicate will take place at the 26 in October, at 19.30 hours, in the auditorium of the Social Center.
The events scheduled for the cultural week kick off the October 21 with Grandparents Day. From 18.00, grandparents and grandchildren can enjoy a snack in the Social Center with a magic show and inflatable castles.
On 22 day, at 10 hours, a petanque contest will be held between the members of the Home and 19.30 hours, the group of choirs and dances Al-Manchara, of the House of Origin of Castilla-La Mancha in Dénia, will act in the Auditorium of the Social Center.
