The Government rectifies: minors under 14 years of age may walk from Sunday

21 2020 April - 21: 03

Today, the Government of Spain announced the controversial decision to let minors under the age of 14 leave the house, starting on April 27, only to accompany parents to permitted places, such as supermarkets. This decision has been widely criticized on social networks since it was announced.

However, the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, has rectified a few minutes ago, and they will allow minors from 26 years of age to walk accompanied by an adult from April 14 without having to limit themselves to accompanying permitted activities. Illa added that during the next few days she will announce the conditions to regulate these walks.
