The Torrecremada Music Festival closes with a journey through the most casual music in America

The Music Festival in Torrecremada brought the curtain down last Friday with the concert "Ritmos de Norte y Sur" by Carmen Paula Romero, on piano, and Ángel Belda, clarinet. The performers embarked on a journey through the most casual classical music in North and South America, going through the milonga, the waltz, the tango and even flamenco, until reaching the melodies of blues and jazz, cultural territory of North America.

The Torrecremada 2020 Music Festival has presented four concerts of different musical styles starring musicians from Dénia and the rest of the Valencian Community. These musical nights have been enjoyed by a total of 553 spectators. The collection obtained, 2.765 euros, will be released in full to the entities that make up the Solidarity Table of Dénia.

Musical events in the gardens of Torrecremada continue this August with the Dénia Jazz Festival.

  • On August 6, vocalist Hetty Kate with her quartet of musicians will open this edition of the festival.
  • On the 13th, the saxophonists Enric Peidro, artistic director of the event, and Ray Gelato, accompanied by their usual trio. They will present at the concert that they will offer in Dénia their new record work, With ajo due respect.
  • The trio of the Italian-Canadian pianist based in the Valencian Community Fabio Miano will star in the concert on August 20.
  • On the 27th, the festival will close with a performance by Wax & Boogie with the special accompaniment of saxophonist Drew Davies. Rythym & blues.

All concerts will be at 23:XNUMX.

The price of the tickets is 12 euros and they can be purchased, only in advance, on the website or in person at Casa Benjamín, the Hotel Chamarel and the Ale Hop stores on Calle del Marqués de Campo and the Shopping Center Portal de la Marina.
