Leclercq SUP team, competition team in Stand Up Paddle or Surf a Remo, formed by athletes from Jávea and Dénia has participated in the first regatta of the Mediterranean Circuit of SUP 2019 held last March 10 in Burriana.
The elite category competed in a demanding and varied race course of 10 km with different wind and wave conditions, as well as technical buoys and a boarding per 50 meters of beach.
In the top category Cristina Lopez de San Román entered the finish line with a time of 01: 22: 34, qualifying ninth overall and reaching in turn the second place in the 14 Elite 40 women's drawer. Kyle Cochrane made a good race, entering the finish line with a time of 01: 12: 34 and qualifying in the fifteenth position of Elite14. Emilio Irigoyen, local sportsman based in Marina de Denia, completed the 10 km at a time of 01: 16: 29, arriving at position 24 of Elite 14 and 5º of the male 40 Master class.
In the female Amateur category, the javiense Vicky Hernández took the top of the podium.
