under the motto More than a passion ... a commitment, The Salvation Army of Dénia organized between the 30 April and 2 May, a withdrawal of men from across the country to talk about values, passion and commitment as men must have in today's society.
During the weekend activities took place in the Retreat and Conference Center Salvation Army, Camp Saron. Team games, comidad of brotherhood and shared experiences set the tone of this retreat that reached deep mark some of the participants.
According to the head of the work of the Salvation Army for Spain and Portugal, Gordon Dali, "This has been a meeting that has really been worthwhile, men from different parts of Spain, with different personal situations but united by the same passion".
Major Germán Ortiz, organizer of the event, praised the withdrawal as "a time that has been necessary to show that today's man can make a difference with real values and wherever he is". For Ortiz, "The benefits of this meeting will not only remain in the person involved, but will have an impact on their families, jobs and of course on society in general".
