The third edition of the Participatory Budgets has completed its proposals phase with 232 ideas collected after a marketing campaign advised by Avantcem. The 31 day of October at 15 hours was the deadline for citizens to make their proposals in the three authorized ways: in person, in the Citizen Participation Space of Les Portelles; online, on the website www.participadenia.es, and in meetings with the councilors of the neighborhood.
The number of proposals has increased significantly compared to the previous editions of the Participatory Budgets: in the year 2017 were 98 proposals, and in the 2018, a total of 92.
During the month of November, the proposals for the Participatory Budgets of 2020 will go through the study of municipal technicians, who will assess their viability. The Consell Veïnal will act as a control body, to guarantee the transparency of the process. It is expected that by the end of the month the final list of proposals that will pass to the voting phase will be prepared.
Voting will take place between the 2 and the December 16, and the proposals that more votes of the citizens accumulate will be included in the budgets of the City of Dénia for the year 2020.
