This week, the Department of Health of Dénia has enabled a series of ATMs with which it will be easier for the patient access to appointments with medical specialists.
These are machines installed in the hall of External Consultations in which all patients who have appointments, must enter their health card. Through a tactile keyboard, the patient will receive a ticket with a registration number and another with the query to which he must go. Once in the waiting room, an informative screen will alert the patient about the shift and the number of the consultation to which it should be directed.
This new system offers the possibility of being attended by several languages and allows to comply exhaustively with the Law of Data Protection.
3.0 dating system
Continuing with the technological advances, Marina Salud has launched a text message system to the mobile phone of the patients to remind them that they have an appointment with the specialist.
The project has started with 8 specialties and other 4 in which the patient, in addition, is offered a series of previous guidelines, in cases in which complementary tests are performed, such as heart magnetic resonances or polysomnography.
In the same way, since the beginning of 2014, patients can also process their appointments through the website www.marinasalud.es, in the patients tab and sub-menu management of appointments.
The appointments with the specialist must be requested by the Primary Care doctor. The main functions that can be performed in the specialties section are: confirm, modify, cancel or consult an appointment.
