The Dénia Rugby Club is closer to the promotion to 1ª Valencia Division after winning in the semifinal to CR A Palos Cuenca by 31 to 0.
A sunny morning, a good atmosphere in the stands of the municipal sports center of Dénia and very motivated players, were the ideal combination to play the game that could give the pass to the final and have the option to upgrade to 1 Division . On the other hand the Basin, was also very motivated, after beating Tecnidex-Valencia in their quarterfinal tie.
The technical team of Dénia, made an approach according to the structure of the game that has been doing all season. With a solid base in front, ensuring a strong defense and a wide range of options for its dynamic three-quarter line.
With these premises, began the meeting with both formations treating each other with powerful front shocks and a short game, while the three quarters acted as spectators waiting for the balls to be transmitted and to deploy their game.
In this were the dianenses who could take the initiative soon, when thanks to a good transmission of the oval, this allowed a play drawn so that it would finally reach John and this scored the first trial. To which the same would add the transformation ahead of the premises by 7-0.

Time kept running and all the fish was sold, which allowed the locals to play smoothly and so a new trial came from John, again untransformed and left the final score of 31-0.
Within the great tone shown by the whole team, David Landa was chosen as the best player of the match.
After this great game the dianenses now wait to endorse their great season in the final for the promotion to be played this Sunday at 12 hours, in the field of the municipal sports center of Dénia against CR Albacete, who won by 29 to 24 to the Catholic University of Valencia.
