El Dénia City Gastronómica Golf Tour, a promotion circuit promoted by the City of Dénia, with the aim of promoting tourism outside the usual months of sun and beach, has been internationalized after landing in Iceland with an original and innovative message.
To the more than three hundred people who participated in two golf tournaments, the message of Dénia was transferred to them as an integral destination offering gastronomy, nature and sport, a wide range of options that complements the golf activity.
Bernardo Sanz and Raimon Waerners, Sports Director and Caddy Masters de La Sella Golf, were in charge of coordinating the celebration of the two tournaments in Iceland, specifically at the Keilir Golf in Reykjavik and at the Vestman Island Golf Club, in the Vestman Islands, with special mention for the participation of representatives of the Heimsferdir tour operator, one of the largest in Iceland.
Before its international launch, several places in the Spanish geography have successfully hosted this project, with special mention for those developed at the National Golf Center in Madrid or the one that took place in San Sebastián, which José María Olazábal, world-renowned golfer, who supported the event on that occasion.
