The Governing Board held last week approved the award of the contract for the service to promote entrepreneurial culture and financial education through the "Entrepreneurship Workshop" project to the company ERF education & consulting for a period of one year, extendable to another plus.
The one known as the School of Young Entrepreneurs, dependent on the Department of Youth, is aimed at young people between 14 and 20 years old and aims to respond to the demand of young people for a space in which they can carry out cultural, leisure and social activities. related to entrepreneurship from all its aspects: business, artistic, leadership, etc. It is, therefore, about providing them with knowledge and experiences that empower the young participants for their day-to-day life and their immediate future.
The Entrepreneurship Workshop will take place in several phases, starting this November with informative workshops for secondary school students from institutes and schools Carmelitas and Marists. From the month of December, classes will begin in the Youth units, every Thursday, for a maximum group of 40 registered. This phase of training will last until the Easter and Easter holidays.
One of the novelties of the new hiring is the celebration during this vacation period of an Entrepreneurship Campus, with a maximum number of 35 participants for reasons of group dynamics and learning effectiveness.
The other great novelty is the organization of an event with directors of leading companies from Dénia and the province that will allow young people to learn about their experience and their entrepreneurial beginnings.
The course will end in September-October with the delivery of the final reports of the different stages traveled by the students.
