The Minister of Hisenda, Vicente Soler, yesterday visited the convent of Jesús Pobre accompanied by the mayor of the EATIM, Javier Scotto, and the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt.
The objective of the meeting was to assess the possible ways of collaboration between the local and regional administrations to acquire this patrimonial asset, in these moments of private ownership, to guarantee its protection and enhancement and its use open to the public and the citizens of Jesús Pobre and the region as a cultural facility.
The property is original from the XNUMXth century and privately owned since the process of confiscation of the ecclesiastical assets of the s. XIX.
