Raquel school Payà commitment audiovisual training students

February 22 from 2016 - 23: 56

The Special Education School Raquel Payà de Dénia participates these days in the 4º International Exhibition of Cinema Educatiu (MICE), a community-level contest that values the audiovisual works of students of all ages.

For this occasion, the center presented the short film they made for the Day of the Disabled with the help of Pablo Llorens, renowned animator who has Goya awards that taught them to work with the stop-motion technique in a workshop he taught weeks in the center.

Today is the last day they have to win the public's prize, which will be taken by the short that accumulates the most reproductions on the YouTube page until midnight.

Precisely this short will also be part of the FIC-CAT, the International Festival of Cinema in Catalonia to which the center has been invited to participate from the 31 from May to the 5 in June, which will be a good opportunity to put on the table how the Audiovisual workshops benefit teamwork and student motivation.

And in the CEE Raquel Payà are still committed to training in audiovisual, something that its director, Miquel Ivars, considers "very enriching" for the students and that will be reflected in the Educational Spring to be held in Valencia next May, an appointment in which several educational centers throughout the Region will explain their work methodology.
