21 March 2018 - 13: 38

El Colegio Paidos Last week he celebrated his Cultural Week, a series of activities that this year have had as a thread the human rights through multidisciplinary works.

In order to develop these projects, students and teachers have had a very special companion: DOT, the extraterrestrial. Designed by the student Luis Terrades (2º of the ESO) and made by the alumni Alba Covisa, Laura Covisa and Elena Molina. DOT landed Monday in Paidos with a special mission: to know our planet and its different civilizations.

To guide him in this interspatial adventure, the students have worked for continents, gathering information on different aspects of them (geography, culture, politics, economy ...) but focusing, fundamentally, on the study of human rights.

The sessions and workshops have been accompanied by some educational talks to sensitize the students about diversity and respect. One of them was taught by ONCE, with a monitor who was accompanied by a trained dog to raise awareness of the work they do. The students could also attend two more talks: one of them given by J. Higueras, of the association of help to people with disabilities Condemados al curzon; and the other, given by CEAR, Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid.

At the event, the importance of centers from different countries sharing experiences and knowledge to continue improving and innovating was highlighted.
