As for Christmas nativity scenes are concerned, Cervantes school has no rival. This year the public school has won first prize in school nativity scenes contest organized by the Department of Education of the City of Denia.

Mas Lucía Molines, sixth grade student at the Marist College, was winner of Christmas cards and will design the Christmas card that illustrates the municipal corporation next Christmas.
The jury, made up of Rafa Carrió, Councilor for Education, Susana Ruiz García Muñoz Lopez and Roser, licensed in Fine Arts, he awarded two second prizes "for his work, composition and color" to the students Carlos Orozco Devesa, of the Montgó school, and Jhonny Angulo Álvarez, of the Cervantes school.
